pit, saggar & Smoke

For pit and smoke firings, pots are placed in a hole and then covered with combustibles which are set on fire. Saggar firings follow a similar process, except that each pot is enclosed in a container which protects the pot from direct contact with the flames. All pots below are pit-fired unless noted otherwise.
